I am Nishtha Mehta, a passionate architect and researcher currently pursuing an M.Arch with Advanced Standing at the Illinois Institute of Technology. I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at CEPT University in 2018 and am a licensed architect in India. With a strong foundation in architectural design, interior projects, and urban planning, I have worked on a diverse range of projects, from residential developments to the restoration of historic pol houses. At the moment, I am gaining hands-on expertise by leading a residential project in Ahmedabad, India, overseeing its journey from concept to construction. 
 

As an avid traveler and cultural enthusiast, I find inspiration in exploring diverse communities and studying the intersection of architecture and human experience. I am also deeply engaged in academia and mentorship, currently participating in AIA Chicago’s 2024/25 Wing Mentorship Program, and I actively attend AIA events to further enrich my architectural practice and professional network.
